Join the AIA Northern Virginia Young Architects Forum, in collaboration with the Washington DC Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology and Pegasus Books, for a thought-provoking evening lecture, reception and book signing.

Dr. Lynne Kelly will present the ideas explored in her new book, The Memory Code, in which she looks at the historical significance of natural and built structures in sharing collective history and memory through ancient civilizations. She will also discuss memory’s relevance not only in terms of its key role in the history of architecture, but also its implications in contemporary design.

A reception will follow with refreshments, networking and a book signing. This event will provide two hours of AIA Continuing Education credit.

Free for students, $10 for AIA and APT members, $15 for non-members. Space is limited and registration is required. Register HERE.

The Memory Code, by Dr. Lynne Kelly, launches in the US on February 7, 2017 and is currently available for pre-order.
