Emerging Professional Sponsorship Program


APT DC is pleased to sponsor the annual Emerging Professional Sponsorship Program (EPSP), a tradition since 1999. The program provides stipends for an active APT DC member who is a recent graduate to attend the annual APTI conference. As part of its mission, APT DC supports emerging professionals that specialize in historic preservation or one of its affiliated fields - architecture, architectural or materials conservation, architectural history/research, construction, construction management, engineering, interiors, landscape architecture, or planning.




Applicant Eligibility:

  • Eligible applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or other certified training program within the past five (5) years in a preservation-related field and are currently working in that field
  • Must have a valid Real ID 
  • All applicants must be APT DC members with dues paid as of July 18, 2025
