Local Event: Duke Ellington School of the Arts Construction Tour

Join the National Building Museum for a tour of major renovations and addition at this famed institution for the visual and performing arts. Gabe Oliver, project manager with GCS Inc., leads a tour of the 295,000-square-foot project that features a four-story atrium with a new 850-seat theater, an outdoor amphitheater on the front lawn, and large studios and rehearsal spaces. Because this is an active construction site, expect some uneven flooring and stair climbing.
