Pre-Construction Tour of Arlington House

  • Saturday, March 03, 2018
  • 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM
  • Arlington House, Arlington National Cemetery

Please join APT DC and AIA DC for a pre-construction tour of Arlington House!

Arlington House, the former home of and nation's memorial to Robert E. Lee, will be undergoing a major rehabilitation project beginning this spring. The project includes the restoration of the mansion house, dependencies, and grounds as well as the construction of a new structure to support the visitor experience. Before this project gets underway, we will tour the house and grounds to hear more about the specifics of the rehabilitation. Speakers will include representatives from the National Park Service, the AIA DC Public Arts Committee, and members of the design team from GWWO, Inc/Architects.

The first tour from 10-11:30AM has sold out, but another tour has been added from 11:45AM-1:15PM. Register here. Please note this event if free for APT DC members, and there are a limited number of spots available. 1.5 LU/HSW credits are available.
