The 2017 APT DC Symposium theme is "Energy Efficiency of Historic Sites," focusing on methods for increasing the efficiency of traditional buildings while maintaining the integrity of the cultural resources. Presenters from across the DC metropolitan area will cover local energy code requirements, energy modeling technologies to identify efficiency strategies, conservation treatments to sensitively remediate common areas of energy loss in a variety of historic building fabrics, and local case studies.

For more information on the day's agenda and full slate of speakers, please click here. Doors open at 8 AM, and the presentations begin at 9 AM. The symposium will conclude at 4:45 PM, followed by a happy hour reception for all guests. Breakfast, lunch, and happy hour are all included in the registration.
